What is Area Code Elite?
Area Code Elite is the premier training destination for basketball athletes dedicated to elevating their game. Our program focuses on developing complete players—enhancing basketball skill, physical strength, speed, agility, and vertical performance. Guided by years of experience and backed by modern sports science, we provide a proven system that accelerates player development and delivers real, measurable results. At Area Code Elite, everything we do is built to make basketball players better.
Where do we train?
We train at Estrella Foothills High School in Goodyear, Arizona. In the event that a session is relocated or the training site changes, Coach Wahlstrom will provide an update with the new location details. Participants will also receive reminder notifications both the day before and three hours prior to each training session for confirmation.

Meet our Founder
Coach Shaun Wahlstrom
Coach Shaun Wahlstrom, a local Arizona native, played high school basketball at Verrado and Estrella Foothills High Schools, earning multiple accolades before committing to Arizona Christian University (ACU), an NAIA program in Glendale, AZ.
At ACU, Wahlstrom played under Head Coach Jeff Rutter—one of the most respected minds in college basketball—where he learned valuable lessons about winning and leadership. During his college career, he helped ACU capture three straight GSAC Regular Season Championships and make multiple deep national tournament runs, including the Final Four, Elite Eight, and Round of 32. He also ranks in the top 10 in ACU history for single-season field goal percentage.
Today, Coach Wahlstrom applies those lessons to Area Code Elite, dedicated to helping young athletes reach their highest potential both on and off the court.
